Acoustics is the way sound moves, reflects and settles inside a space.

Every surface a sound wave meets either sends it back into the room or absorbs some of its energy. The balance between the two decides whether a space feels sharp and restless or soft and calm. That balance is acoustics — and unlike layout or light, it is the one quality of a room you hear before you can name it.
