Shooting Star Film Company is one of Amsterdam's most active independent production houses. Tucked along one of the city's oldest canals, the studio sees up to thirty people a day, directors, editors, voice-over artists, clients, all moving through the same space.
The canal views are everything you'd want from an Amsterdam address. The canal noise is something else entirely.
With sound at the core of their work, the team needed walls that could keep up. Not just acoustically, aesthetically too. A production studio on the water cannot afford to look like a recording booth.
